World No Tobacco Day

Theme: “Unmasking the Appeal: Exposing Industry Tactics in Marketing of Tobacco and Nicotine Products”
Langsa Hill School observed World No Tobacco Day 2025 with activities aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of tobacco and nicotine products. A special assembly and awareness sessions were held to educate students about the manipulative tactics used by the tobacco industry and their harmful effects on health.
Competitions such as essay writing, slogan writing, poster making, and speech contests were organized to encourage student participation. The program concluded with a collective pledge by students and staff to live tobacco-free, and the school campus was officially declared a Tobacco-Free Zone.
